Sophisticated Skiptracing for Even Small Accounts

With over 35 years of service in the Western U.S., we have accumulated one of the strongest overdue account information bases in the business. This is backed by a sophisticated skiptracing system which includes cross referencing and online databases. This enables us to instantly "match" accounts as they are entered into our computer system and compare credit information, location information, asset information, and real estate. As a result, we can combine multiple account balances and file suit for recovery for several clients at the same time. This procedure makes it cost effective to pursue litigation for small balance accounts.

Computerization Increases Speed of Collections

Here at Fidelity we have loaded all of our skiptracing data bases directly to our Network Servers' hard drives. This allows every collector to thoroughly work each and every skip and mail-return account in the fastest possible fashion. Skiptracing procedures that used to take days to complete are now done in a matter of seconds or minutes. This means increased speed and recovery of money owed to our customers. Some of the data bases being used are Real Estate and Property Owners, Corporate and Partnership listings, Fictitious Business Listings, Board of Equalization and Professional License Records, Regional and National Criss-Cross and Phone Disc Directories, UCC Filings and many others. If a data base is obtainable and in a format capable of being downloaded to our computer drives, we make every attempt to utilize it.

Scanning of Hardcopy Documents

We also use Optical Imaging & Scanning software and hardware to "scan in" verification and support documentation provided by our clients. We can then return original materials directly to our customers without the need to keep it on our premises. This is of particular interest to those clients who do not want sensitive documents floating around outside and beyond their control. Even more functional is the ability of the collector to "pull up" a document while speaking directly with the debtor. Many disputed claims are handled immediately by verification of the customer's signature, rather than requesting untimely verification of the debt by asking our client to provide additional information.

We also attempt to "scan in" all relevant documentation that could be used to prove-up a Default Judgment. Many of the courts are now accepting scanned copies of original documents as adequate to prove-up a lawsuit. When and if litigation is necessary to enforce payment of a claim, this has proven to considerably speed up this timely process.
